Adductor strain (pulled groin) injury involving the adductor muscles on the inside of the hip joint that bring the thighs together.  Typically from a sudden trauma which pulls the leg outward against resistance.  Signs/symptoms include pain, weakness with hip adduction (bringing the thighs together), and difficulty walking or running.

Treatment
Treatment is nonsurgical or conservative and includes rest, ice, compression, protected weight bearing, anti-inflammatory medicines, and physical therapy to rehab the hip adductor muscles once the acute pain has improved.
